Sony has recently announced the God of War collection (1&2) will be available on the PlayStation Network (PSN) in March 2010 for $39.99 along with the release of God of War III (Sold Separately). Both games will run in HD at 720p, so if you always wanted to see God of War 1&2 in HD here is your chance.

 

Vice President Scott Rohde (via the U.S. PlayStation Blog), of Worldwide Studios America said, "We are excited today to announce the God of War Collection."

 

"Our fans spoke and we listened; thanks to our partnership with Bluepoint Games, fans and newcomers to the series can experience the epic God of War and God of War II saga in stunning 720p on PS3. This Blu-ray Disc compilation brings Kratos to PS3 even earlier than expected."

 

Look for the collection sometime this holiday season, with God of War III to hit stores March 2010.
