Sony brings a new version of the PlayStation Portable called PSP Go! The handheld's UMD is not longer used but instead it has a flash memory to store downloaded games. Sony announced four games for the handheld, including Metal Gear and LittleBigPlanet.

The PSP Go! had to been shown at E3, the show next week in Los Angeles, but is now leaked through Sony's digital magazine Qore PlayStation. The magazine appeared slightly earlier than planned in the United States.

No UMD drive
The PSP Go! has a sliding screen which makes the buttons visible, making the screen positioned above the buttons. The handheld has no UMD drive. Instead, you download games and can be saved on the 16GB flash memory. The Go! also has Bluetooth support. In addition to games, also movies and music can be downloaded through PlayStation Network.

Games
Sony has also announced a number of games for the Go!. This is LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear and Jak & Daxter. It is unclear whether these games will also appear for the older PSP versions. It is also not yet known what the price and date of publication of this handheld are. There is also leaked video of the PSP Go! shown below along with some screenshots of the handheld.
