Details are pretty scarce on Infinity Ward's upcoming Modern Warfare 2, but ahead of the extended trailer due to be released on the the game's official website this Sunday - GameTrailers.com has posted 8 brand new screenshots.

 

With Christ the Redeemer easily noticeable in one of the screens, it all but confirms Rio de Janeiro as one of the locations in the game. Another bit of information we learn from the screenshots, is that it clearly shows glimpses of the gameplay, including a first-person ride aboard a snowmobile.
