Red Dead Redemption was revealed to be released in April by Rockstar. Now the date gets more specific, you can expect to play the western shooter on April 27, 2010. The game is the sequel to Red Dead Revolver, it was released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Red Dead Redemption will be using Grand Theft Auto 4s RAGE engine, and will be available for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
