The newest installment in the Call of Duty series "Modern Warfare 2" has achieved record breaking sales. In the first 24 hours of the games release it has sold 4.7 million copies earning $310 million in North America and the U.K alone. It beats Grand Theft Auto IVs record breaking first day sales as well as any other video game to date. Modern Warfare 2 is expected to sell a lot more in the long run.
