SEGA recently announced that Valkyria Chronicles 2 will be coming exclusively to the PSP. So if you were looking forward to a new Valkyria Chronicles on the PlayStation 3, then your out of luck. Valkyria Chronicles 2 takes place two years after the conclusion of the first game. A group of young Gallian Military Academy cadets are brought into a bitter civil war when the newly assembled Gallian Revolutionary Army takes power. The game will be coming in summer 2010, so you get plenty of time to buy a PSP.

 

The “CANVAS” engine originally developed for Valkyria Chronicles for the PlayStation 3 is being fully redesigned for the graphical capabilities of the PSP. The newly designed engine will power over 20 new unique and visually amazing environments in which players will have hundreds of different missions to explore in.
