The first DLC to come out was the horse armor for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. When that came out, people insisted “it’s just horse armor, don’t be paranoid about”. The DLC offered was something small and hailed several more. The DLC that followed in Oblivion were much more thought out and well deserved. The Knights of Nine campaigns as well as The Shivering Isles were great addons for the game. The campaigns were fleshed out and featured a few hours of gameplay for a relatively low cost.
